Count of Products in shopping cart / Account-notification is not correct?

There is an issue with the counting/numbers in Account notification and I wonder if that is correct or not.....

1) Example - Buyer buys two products. 66 units of the first and 1 unit of the second product. I think, the count in the Acc Notification Menue should be 2 - two products bought, and not 67 (

2) Example - Buying Points - A User buys 1000 Points. In my understanding there should be 1 in the Account notification and not 1000
