Emojis turn to ? In Messenger
Emojis turn to ? In Messenger. Has anyone else experienced this problem and know what to do to fix it? LeonidS It goes in correctly and I will see the emoji but the person on the other end sees a ? Once I leave messenger and come back I will see the ? Instead of the emoji. Can I get some help with this?

LeonidS I have never made any changes in control panel. This has been a problem ever since my site was moved to a VPS. I had issues with multiple modules after that which UNA was kind enough to go in and fix. This is one problem that has not been fixed and I don’t have a clue how to fix it.

In your Control Panel->Databases->Your UNA database->phpMyAdmin and the check the tables from this list https://github.com/unaio/jot-client-una/blob/master/install/sql/install.sql

UPDATE - the Messenger tables has the wrong encoding (utf8_general_ci) so I updated all of them to utf8mb4_unicode_ci. Waiting the answer from Tim Burleigh about the result.

Apparently I have the same problem after reinstalling messenger after not having it for awhile. I have tried to figure it out in control panel with no success. Do you mind looking at it again LeonidS ?
