How to avoid duplicate notifications
When I get notifications they appear in two places like shown in attached image. Why does that happen? How to avoid any duplicated notifications ?

It might depend on the event types. For example, the friend request will be shown on both points.

Yes, some of them will show only on the profile one, but there are some that show up on both sides. Is there a way to make items show up only in one location rather than both?

hello my friend @Tajrebatee for your site/app reference, you may kindly deactivate the notification menu as the account notification ul section reads all total li alerts in the menu including notification, conversation, friend request, etc... since notification already has its own button with alerts, there's no need to include it in the account notification.
