Inaccurate Notifications Managing Photo Albums

I deleted two photos from an album, but the notifications report otherwise. It seems that the developers have mixed up the notifications, as they indicate that images have been added instead of reporting that they were deleted. It's unnecessary to notify friends that something no longer exists; however, the notification could be more useful for the user by indicating that a photo has been removed from the album.

    • Hello @Romulus !

I've checked it on my side with the coming version. There is no situation now that UNA notifies about the removed images as "added". And the notifications about deleted images aren't useful because add the info about wrong uploads and t's impossible to view on the deleted items.

      • Try this: Click on the "Edit Album" button, remove two pictures from the album, save, and then check the notifications. UNA will incorrectly report that you have added all the photos in the album, sending a notification for each one, even though you actually deleted two. Sorry, I forgot to specify the method for deleting the photos earlier.

        • I've repeasted those steps in our dev area, so there are no notifications about deleted pictures. Perhaps some changes with this module took an effect.

          • This issue started on my online development site after updating from 14.0.0-RC2 to 14.0.0-RC3, suggesting that it's related to the update process. I’ll perform a fresh reinstall of version 14.0.0-RC3 to see if it works properly. However, I have yet to find a version that updates automatically without issues. This raises concerns about the reliability of the update process. After all, who would feel confident investing in a website that can't be updated smoothly? To be honest, I still don’t have the courage, even though I really want to.

            • A fresh install of 14.0.0-RC4 resolved the error, confirming that the issue stemmed from the update process and previous versions. Thanks @LeonidS we can close this ticket
