JPG images were transcoded to PNG

The JPG image files which uploaded as profile covers were transcoded to PNG format with a very big size and footprint by default. 

Could I configure this behavior to keep it as JPG？

    • Hello Tester !

      UNA transforms the uploaded covers into JPG only original may have another extension. So please try to repeat this error with different images.

        Yes, I tried, No matter the upload file format, everything is transcoded to a very big PNG file. I suppose The right behavior should remain the original format with a resizing or cropping .

        Looks like it has something to do with the transcoder_filters？

        • I had this issue too posted here. I compresed the jpeg and after upload it become twice the size and png format :/
