live webinar hosting

Hi I was wondering how did you host the past few live webinars on UNA. Currently we have video meetings among friends. Does this require special configuration? Andrew Boon Mark Purser

Yes, it’s yet to become a part of UNA. We’ve used OvenMediaEngine, running off a separate server instance. Also experimented with AntMediaServer (Red5 fork), Nginx and plan to try Vidu before we settle on one solution. Embedding of the stream is done via raw block and locally we use Ecamm to stream to custom rtmp.

Thank you Andrew. I look forward to seeing UNA as a more live webinar / streaming platform to enable traning, meeting usecases. The pandemic norms are becoming permanent business practises and we all need to adapt.
