Location field not working as expected

When I post a video or an album directly from the timeline, the location field does not work. I have to edit the album or video afterward to add the location, which is quite frustrating. I'm not sure if this is an issue with my site’s settings or if it's a more widespread problem. Quite simply, the autocomplete field with google only works in edit form.
