Anyone know what this search box is doing here and what it's for?

I see the calendar icon to the right ... is the search box for choosing a date?

I tried to put in a date but nothing happened. It's just odd sitting there. The calendar should have been enough

This "search box" is the jump switcher of the Timeline app and it allows to "dive" quickly into the posts from the given date. But it has some issues with the dynamic loaded content https://github.com/unaio/una/issues/4089
