Need help! No access to studio or website

Please help! I do not have access to the studio or my website after I tried to set up my own domain name. I waited for 24 hours and instead of access I lost everything. What should I do?

    • From what I have seen, 24 hours may not be enough of a wait time; one guy had his server down a week.  Have you put in the ticket on this?  If you can give some details on what you did to change the domain name perhaps we can help.  You also have to make a change to a core file; you can do this through ftp if you don't have some sort of server file manager.  The file that needs to be changed is /inc/header.inc.php and you need to find the line at the beginning that reads; define('BX_DOL_URL_ROOT'

      • Thank you very much for your help! You are very kind. I do not know where I can find ftp files here though... On other platforms I just changes DNS and it was done fast without problems. I could find files, languages, etc. Why do I have to go through struggle on UNA? Is it more advanced? I will try to play with it, and if it doesn't work, then I will go back to WordPress. Too bad that Dolphin discontinued, I liked it. It was easy for me.

        • The same would go if you were running your site on http; non ssl, then set up the site to be https; you would have to edit the header.inc.php file. to change the entry in define('BX_DOL_URL_ROOT',

          • Geek Girl, thank you very much for your help! I think it is a little too complicated for me, but I still will try to do it. I hope that the customers service will help me with this. By the way, does UNA they have a technical support and customer services? Other platforms helped me fast with any problems I had, they also have phone numbers to call for immediate help.

              • DD as I see your site is running fine now. TO start to configure your site please go to your site studio - add /studio/ to your site url (for example - http://example.com/studio/ ) and enter email and password which you entered when you were launching the site.

                  • Luba are you using the hosted version, or do you have Una on your own server?

                    I have the hosted version of Una and my domain is with GoDaddy. I have tried changing the domain name multiple times with no luck.  You may need to email support@una.io. That's what I have done and LeonidS is currently helping me with figuring out where the issue is.

                    • Hi James, I am using UNA hosting and GoDaddy domain. I still could not figure out how to set up my own domain. Please let me know when you will have it working, so I will do the same thing with mine. Thank you!
