Pages: Content Box Character Limit?
I am updating my privacy policy in PAGES > SYSTEM > PRIVACY POLICY. It refuses to save my changes to the content box. All I continue to see is a swirling blue/green circle that doesn't stop until I click cancel.
I saved my Terms with no problem, and that was shorter in length.
Is there a character limit for the content box? Why won't it save changes?

No, there are no limits, it looks like your text contains smth that breaks the saving. Is it possibleto show us your text here?

Attached is my draft privacy policy. If I copy and paste the top half OR the bottom half into the content box, it saves OK. But, if I try to copy and paste the entire privacy policy, it will not save. It's very odd. I even removed all the 'a href' tags thinking that may be a problem. It wasn't.

If i had to guess your mysql server / php might be set to a low insert limit on submit... max_input_vars if i recall in php.ini.
It's set around 1000 by default on most systems.

Got the answer. May help others at some point.
It was a ModSecurity issue. ModSecurity: Access denied with code 500 (phase 2) .
A global whitelist was created for my server ("set up a global whitelist for it, so rules 300015 and 300016 (they should both be generic SQL injection rules) should not affect anything at the /studio/ URI ")
