Post to Сontext Feed

In my context feeds for organizations, groups and profile pages, using the Post to Feed editor new formatting appears to be accepted however when I save the post all formatting is stripped. Within the same feeds, comments published to posts do respond appropriately, retaining the rich text.

Not sure what I'm missing here. The rich text works fine in the homepage feed's ADD NEW text editor and also for creating regular posts and discussions. I am using iframely in the timeline settings. Is it possible my settings for embedding somehow affected these editors? Many thanks for any assistance.
