Empty Shoutbox
For some reason, the "shoutbox" became empty. We didn't delete it or clear history. Any reason? is there a setting for it to be reset after a period of time?

There is an option in menu that allows to "Clear the History" of the talk. This option is available only for Admins or Moderators. May be history has been removed.
Also may be you have created another block with the same name Shoutbox home page.

Thanks @Alexey . I know of that option. But none claims that they "cleared history". Is there a way to track that down to see if that what actually happened? i.e., someone cleared history?

Unfortunatly, there is no currently feature in place to monitor user activity. It may be beneficial to consider implementing such a function for certain options in the future.
