Shoutbox VS Messenger Block

What is the main difference from both Shoutbox and Messenger block? Why I can only see "Add Block" Shoutbox on Homepage but not on Group Page ?

Please give example of usage/implementation for those.

      It's enough to enable the Messenger block on the View Group page:

      It is the same thing like Shoutbox but only for the members of group.

      • can I generate a link to be shared outside of UNA as a widget? my goal is my community can share the talks on their group

          The Shoutbox has a unique type and class compared to other blocks, and it does not rely on the page's link like other messenger blocks do. However, these differences do not affect how it functions. This means that you can also add other messenger blocks to the homepage, and they will work for all users who have access to the index page.

          • If you want to use Messenger as a widget on another site, it will only work for logged-in members of UNA site. Non-logged in members will only be able to read messages and not send any.
