Spacenook and UNA: Your experience using it as a starter kit

Hey Guys;

A long time ago, I installed SpaceNook and what happen there after, I ask myself.

Anyway, what was your experience and could you have gone the full monty of UNA afterwards upgrading to the latest and keep some of those wonderful modules like messenger etc. , Quite a deal breaker.

Please talk to me... also for those with demo servers... it is easy to transfer production ready code over to your live box. But did you ever had to only export or extract just your data and transfer it to a new una server. I know we have some of best in our community. Please share with me.
