What size is the image supposed to be?
Every attempt results in a distorted image being displayed.
Also I am wondering if someone can help guide me on these two issues

There is no recommendations except the rule "width > height". Other your points answered / will be answered soon.

Still having this issue with distorted images everywhere. This post is from 2019 has there been any update on this.

May you provide us the screenshot and the details of the wrong looking cover image?

Essentially any image uploaded does not appear the way it should when you crop it.
Is there an "ideal" image size? Say if the image has text in it.
Its a painful process to get the text to appear centered and clear.
It would be helpful to know what the ideal image size is that will appear exactly as it does when you open it in paint for instance. -
May you check your cover images here https://ci.una.io/test/ ? Just to excluded the server specific parameters.

Seems to work fine on that test site. Can you elevate the rights to access studio there so I can see if there is a problem with logo's using designer?
