Why {Videos} Mod lacks similar features that {Photos] Mod has ?

{Videos} & {Photos} Mods are some of the major Mods I used quite a lot on D7. In fact they are the most viewed items on FB & Twitter today. But I wonder why {Videos} Mod was not given the same importance as much as {Photos} Mod during UNA design.. Here is what I am talking about:
1. Visit my Photos Home page and see how cool it is..
2. now, Visit my Videos Home page and see how pathetic it is.. you should see a BLANK page.. Also the sections {Latest Videos (Showcase View)} & {Latest Videos} are BLANK..  Nothing works ! you have to click on the Video links in order to see the videos - why is that ? Why can't we keep the same features as we currently have with Photos Mod ?
As you know, Videos are very crucial for any social networking platform. I even used to generate few dollars when I feature them on my site, and not to mention they make the site very animated & they also generate more traffic. I really hope the Videos Mod can be fixed in the next UNA release. I can't stress enough how important the Videos are..
Note: If someone can fix this for me, I can pay for his/her service. This looks really bad, I am hoping to get this done soon.. Thx !

      The current "bad look" of videos pages means that by some reason the convertation of videos hasn't been completed properly - that's why we don't see the thumbnails. As the first step, you may increase the memory_limit parameter (128 Mb is too low for the comfortable work with videos), clear the `sys_transcoder_queue` table and try to upload the new files again. If it will not help then try to check the error logs of your site with FFmpeg mentions.

      • Hi LeonidS The { memory_limit } is irrelevant in this situation because I found a way to use embedded videos instead, I do not allow raw videos get uploaded to my server, that will bring my server to its knees. If youtube does the videos streaming for me, why do I need to use up my resources.. So, the blank page you see is my videos home page which has ONLY Embedded Videos. If you go directly to the video's page, you will see it please take a look , but nothing shows up on the Videos home page.. Also, one cool feature I like about UNA amongst others, is the {Showcase View } which saves the site's real estate, but it only works on Photos Mod, it doesn't work on Videos Mod. I use embedded videos heavily, but I can't get it work properly the same way I did for Photos.. Please see attached & see how cool the Photos {Showcase View } is, why can't we apply the same approach on videos too ?  Thx.

        • The mentioned places with empty thumbnails depend from the image_trancoder.php file which better to support with the bigger moery_limit too. Also, for your case with embed videos you need to upload the pictures (available in the form).
