Will Jitsi ever have video effects?

Will Jitsi ever have video effects? As an open source I'm surprised at the lack of creativity projects for it. Background filters, effects would be nice. Not saying anythings wrong with the service itself but should be a library with plug-ins already.

In my opinion, if you want to llok foolish (like the recent cat video lawyer that went viral), try Zoom. If you want to stick to the business at hand, use Jitsi!

I'm talking about virtual backgrounds and video effects for Jitsi not Zoom.
