So, three times in les than two days, my site goes to unavailable due to maintenance mode: This just came in from tmd hosting:

Considering the above error, this issue is related to the code of the application. You need to understand that debugging code of your application/plugins/theme is outside of our area of expertise as it is not hosting-related. In such cases, you need to contact your web developers or developers of your application for further assistance on this matter.

Please pay attention, that these steps forced us to intervene in the code of your application. We have generated a fresh backup copy of your website before performing such changes and in case such a solution isn't suitable for you, let us know and we will revert all our changes back.
As to the reason for such an issue, please be advised that the error on your website was caused by the upgrade of your application. If the upgrade hasn't been performed by you, presumably an automatic upgrate is enabled on your website and your application was upgraded itself.

What do I do about this? I am not a coder, just a simple webmaster with click and drag skills lol. I DID turn off auto-updates in settings to prevent this from happening again?!
Even if you are upgrading to a new release that has been out for a period of time, always perform a full backup of your site because even a stable release could potentially disable your site.
Has anything changed since my post? Still a problem with upgrades? I want to retry the una script but it's not very user friendly the last time. (1 year ago) I am currently using peepso dot com wp pluggin but just found out theres maximum to followers and also it can scale large due to needing third party mail pluggins, which will NEVER work!
I just did a fresh install, over a year later, and it installed version 12.01 instead of 13.? aaaand hit the update to version number 13.? aaaaaand same BS as over a year ago. >>>Site is temporarily unavailable due to scheduled maintenance, please try again in a minute.<<< So three years later, UNA is STILL not out of the box ready, its not user friendly UNLESS you are a tech wizz. Oh well, wasted money on the boonex licence years ago which is useless if una is useless. :(
