I have a fairly straightforward question. We are evaluating UNA and want to change the way new accounts are created, their identifiers, and future logins.

We are developing a Wallet app which will include kyc identity verification. When the users identify has been verified, we would like the app to trigger UNA account creation using a unique private key as the account username instead of an email address and password.

We intend to utilize the Wallet’s biometric authentication and a code generator to replace the UNA login credentials.

This serves several purposes. 1 - every user account is verified as real in the Wallet app. 2. The app keeps the user’s personal information secure, on device. 3. The private key replaces email information on the UNA platform to offer profiles/accounts a measure of privacy. 4. If users are banned from the platform, they have no means of creating a new account with fake information.

Does UNA allow modification of the account username field so it doesn’t have to be formatted as an email address?
