Why am I getting this?

Usually, this trouble may appear in the outdated versions of PHP. Which one do you have on your (I suggest) shared hosting? If possible, you may ask your hosting support to fix it.

Just updated to 7.4. I should have caught that. Thanks for the reminder.
Ok, got the PHP updated and the splash page comes up but then this:
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator at to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
The error 500 leaves the traces in the error log file of your server. It needs to check the latest lines form there.
