I need to update my UNA website from Version: 12.1.0 to 14.0.0 but there is no Upgrade button! I waited more than a year for the Upgrade button to appear but it doesn't, what can I do?!
The upgrade from 12.1 to 13.0 version requires to complete all intermidiate steps like alpha, beta and RC versions. So first of all, you need to switch your Update channel option in the Studio->Developer app from the stable to beta variant.
I tried this with a blank site, fresh install version 12.1.0 and it doesn't work on the beta channel. that's why I wrote that version 12.1.0 is not a stable version but a dead end, after a few updates it reaches the database crash and ends there the site becomes unrecoverable. make a backup copy before trying, you will have to work hard for this update. The problem appears when updating modules after updating a core.
So before trying to update, do some tests to see which is the best option. Because I tried with the modulles released by UNA without any custom modifications and it didn’t work, you probably need to see how you update the databases, what database versions do you need to be compatible for each version , you need to do a migration scenario with an empty site until you find the solution, take and note each step until you succeed. It’s a very difficult task to pass. And when you have managed to find the solution, then try the migration with a copy of the site. make a backup for each step.
I will have to do this again anyway, but I can't because I have other priorities. When I do the migration I will post my steps. If you do it before me, post how you did it.
github or una apps store, but I saw that the app store doesn't work directly from the old sites, you have to download them manually and install them manually. All the modules you have to do download and install manualy. I don't remember which version of una core the app store works from, but I saw that it doesn't work in older versions. Most PHP sites use composer, I don't know why UNACMS doesn't use it, it would be much simpler. And documentation is almost non-existent. so you have to search the forum.

I can't understand anything! UNA files are uploaded under "/public_html/cgnetwork/", what does that mean?!! I updated UNA more than one time there before and there was no problem!
you can't claim that the latest version will work with version 12, look for a specific version for version 12. https://unacms.com/download-product/developer there are different versions starting from version 9.0.0

can't find the Developer app in my Studio, I think I need an old version of it to install on Version: 12.1.0!

There isn't any problem in the files ownership, my files are not under the root SSH user, I think the problem is from your side, Please help!
