  The image uploads I showed is for message attachments. There is no background cover feature there, but it’s be an easy one to do. Do you mean a background for the conversation area? Most messengers that use backgrounds have to have cards/bubbles for the messages to ensure there’s no contrast issues. That’s going to create double margins and may need special treatment on mobile.
