Comment to Chat + or Rocket Chat

After reviewing the requirements for Messenger and Rocket chat, it seems like both would not be appropriate for a shared hosting platform. Is that correct? Is there another synchronous option that would work on a shared hosting platform?

I will take a look at it as an option. Is my understanding correct that Messenger and Rocket chat won't work well on a shared server?

I see now that your free Jot server is just part of the UNA modules. My issue is that my host (GoDaddy) will not allow NodeJS on the shared server. Is this a showstopper, MSolutions ?
