Situation: User A has permission to a secret group. User B does not have permission to a secret group. User B is friends with User A.
Is there a reason why User B will get a notification that User A voted on a discussion in a secret group? It seems like if the group is secret, no one without permissions should get notifications about activity in the group--even if they are friends with someone who does.
On my site, when and administrator tries to post a link in the timeline with editor enabled, the "Post" button is greyed out (see image). Is this by design or is there a way I can post links?
EDITED to clarify that the user is an administrator.
I just added a file to a secret group to which I have permission as administrator. When I tried to add a comment to the add file item, the waiting icon kept circling and it did not allow me to comment. Any ideas as to what causes this and how I can fix it? I did notice that shortly after I received a Cron message to email that said:
"sh: java:: command not found"
Is there a setting that needs to be configured for invited members to display on the group-manage page after they are invited? Is this a visibility problem?
I have set up the Wiki module and removed all permissions from the Standard user (see image). However, when a Standard user views the wiki pages, they have access to the administration features (see image). Am I just missing a configuration option?
I would like to add the "Forums Actions" block to another page. I can see it as an added block in the "Forums of Author" page, but when I click on "Add Blocks" on any other page, the "Forums Actions" block does not appear within the Discussions blocks.
NOTE: I have renamed "Discussions" to "Forums" in the Polyglot.
I have purchased Spaces and am trying to begin configuration, but in the Studio, I cannot seem to get the Module "Active". Every time I change the toggle to active, it just reverts to inactive. However, it does show up in the menu. What am I missing?
I have added a Messenger block to my View Groups page, but the name from another group is retained in the name. Obviously this could be misleading to users. Why does this happen and more importantly how can I fix this?
On the discussions-manage page when logged in as an administrator, there is an vertical ellipses menu icon on the upper-right (see image). How can I make this appear for a custom permission level I created? I have searched the Studio->Permissions, Studio->Pages, Studio->Navigation and cannot seem to find where to configure this.
