You may hide this block for the Unathentificated level in the Pages app.

  Sorry, I actually meant for logged-in users who are not members of the closed group.
  I am trying to hide that page from people that are not members of the group (but who are logged in on the site).

  The members list isn't controlled by the level of the group (it is open for all viewers for all groups except secret), so you need to edit the serviceFans method to change this situaiton.
