I could not update until I looked for blocked outgoing connections on my server and fixed that, but your server features might be different that the site I use.  Also after updating to the new version and then updating the plugin modules the Studio would not launch.  I then used my back up but that broke some of the links I had so I will have to reinstall the entire site, fortunately I do not have allot of members yet.
