Have the same HTTP ERROR 500 issue. There's twenty different answers, on this discussion, to fix problem. What is the correct solution?

  I swapped the BxTimlineTemplate.php with the one Alex T provided on this discussion and it works now.

  Another HTTP Error 500 issue I had was a cache issue
  Go to FTP and look up what the error may be in the errorlog.
  My issue shown cache errors
  I Logged to Cpanel then File Manager and clear out cache folder (leaving the sub folders intact) and then cleared public cache folder.
  Site was up and running again.
