Basically my complaint was the same complaint when UNA team pulled this same stunt on a former beta version of UNA. There is no need to mess with the marketplace for the official release. If people want to test a beta or alpha version of UNA that is fine; however, those of us on the full official stable release should not be forced to jump through hoops to update our sites or to download and install apps. Yet, Boonex seems to think that we should be forced to jump through hoops. Boonex team could easily set up a testing marketplace for their betas and alphas; it isn't hard to do and they know it. People wanting to test betas and alphas would simply enter the link to the marketplace just as we do now when we are on the official full stable release. Why they don't is a puzzlement. Why are they screwing around with the stable release marketplace each time a beta or alpha version is released? Are they trying to force people to move to the betas and alpha releases to get more testers? If they need more testers then set up a tester programme with some sort of incentive. With these antics, it seems to me they are trying to force people to abandon UNA. I was getting ready to set up a new project with UNA but if I have to face these sorts of difficulties each time Boonex wants testers for their betas or alpha releases, I may have to find alternative platforms.
