What the hey is going on here?
I made a mistake and installed the latest UNA 13 alpha version and no, I didn't make a backup first even though my hosting told me to let her do any upgrades. Now when I go to the page and click on the button download UNA 12 it takes me to a page that has 13.0.0-A2. What the hey is going on here? How many times has members on here complained about this? And here we are in January of 2022 and UNA is doing the same thing. The UNA 13 alpha should be a completely different market. Can UNA restore the UNA 12 download please? I just checked and the products in the market are for UNA 13. So here you have paying members using the official stable release of UNA 12 and they can't do anything.

You can download the latest stable version - UNA 12.1 from Github. Click on the green Code dropdown button and then Download ZIP. Here's the link: https://github.com/unaio/una

I don't want to download from Github; and also the modules/apps; it causes problems when you install it using Github. If you use the master to grab the modules/apps, they are coded differently as far as versions and this is stored in the database. I had a big mess once when I installed from Github with the modules not being versioned correctly.

If you wanna make your life easier and less stressful when it comes to Site upgrade,
- Rule #1 for any Admin: 'NEVER install an Alpha or Beta version on a production/live site'.
- Rule #2: 'Always backup your files and database FIRST before any site upgrade'.
Also it has been stated here:
UNA 13 Alpha 1 and Alpha 2 now available for download with hundreds of fixes and improvements. Please, note that this is NOT A PRODUCTION-READY release and it recommended for testing and pre-production sites only.

Really....where did i mention how to do an upgrade on my post, maybe 15 plus years working with dolphin platforms and helping una with testing disqualifies me!!?? LOL!!!! Rule#1 don't reply on a post with a comment that has nothing to do with the original topic. Or can it be that your just posting anywhere you desire to accumulate brownie points.
Rule#2 read the post before you make a comment, if it does not make sense to you, don't get involved.

I almost did the same thing. I had to go to the UNA download page and click the three dots "show more" icon on the right side to show the previous releases. https://una.io/page/download-product?id=86

Hi @Will Monte I am sorry mate, I have probably misunderstood you. I have thought you did an upgrade to UNA 13 Alpha then you wanted to downgrade to UNA 12. I once did a mistake to upgrade to a beta version on a live site. I have learned things the hard way. That's why I just wanted to share my experience and nothing else. Please disregard my post. Thanks. Sorry!

Oh I understand bro! @Will Monte I misunderstood and thought Github has the same version as the market.
I had a mess with version 12 and upgraded to beta on my live site without realizing it would cause new bugs.
With UNA 13 I upgraded to A2 and so far haven’t had any major issues.
Can the UNA team send you a market version 12? I assume that would be a simple fix if they have previous builds archived.

I always test new updates since my site still hasn't gone public. I was excited about testing Una 13 alpha and beta specifically for the new features but I realized the features either aren't actually in UNA 13 or incompatible with people on UNA Cloud. The Stream App cannot be properly used for people on UNA Cloud. $150 down the drain. The Artificer Template is broken and has no actual way for people to change the styles like you can do in Designer. The bugs from A1-A2 increased dramatically. Not a few bugs here and there but seems like I find new ones all the time. So many that even one person testing has a hard time because of all the links and extra pages. I happily put in discussions the bugs but also not happily have to keep reminding the UNA team that I am on UNA Cloud and can't just fix stuff on the fly. 3rd party apps don't work on updates so waiting another two months for UNA 13 to come around and then for app developers to get around to updating their apps.... all to get your site to run proper again. So far we are only at 58% at 4 months... So I'm stuck in limbo. I was waiting for UNA 13 to come out so my site could finally be turned into an app but since Stream App isn't compatible I will have to release a dumbed down version of my app. I will never again help with testing. UNA 13 is a nightmare for testers as the amount of bugs at only 58% is so overwhelming. If UNA is paying attention it's stuff like this that will drive people away. Lack of testers, promoting new features that don't actually work with no alternatives.

Basically my complaint was the same complaint when UNA team pulled this same stunt on a former beta version of UNA. There is no need to mess with the marketplace for the official release. If people want to test a beta or alpha version of UNA that is fine; however, those of us on the full official stable release should not be forced to jump through hoops to update our sites or to download and install apps. Yet, Boonex seems to think that we should be forced to jump through hoops. Boonex team could easily set up a testing marketplace for their betas and alphas; it isn't hard to do and they know it. People wanting to test betas and alphas would simply enter the link to the marketplace just as we do now when we are on the official full stable release. Why they don't is a puzzlement. Why are they screwing around with the stable release marketplace each time a beta or alpha version is released? Are they trying to force people to move to the betas and alpha releases to get more testers? If they need more testers then set up a tester programme with some sort of incentive. With these antics, it seems to me they are trying to force people to abandon UNA. I was getting ready to set up a new project with UNA but if I have to face these sorts of difficulties each time Boonex wants testers for their betas or alpha releases, I may have to find alternative platforms.
