It's just my expectations, Will. or maybe wishful thinking. But the last beta1 version of 12 has been released back in January 2021. And a lot of the new, good stuff was already included in the first two alpha versions of 13. Some time ago, Alex wrote that they might exclude some bigger parts and postpone them to the next version 14. Until now, I cannot see any tranfers of open issues to una 14 on github. We all will know what's coming in very short time.
