If Account A is the only admin, Account A should be presented with the opportunity to appoint another Admin who will take ownership; otherwise, the group and all content will be deleted.

If there is another Admin, he can just leave the group. So, actually, a user should not be able to delete their profile while they are the only admin of any group.
