I am working on a UNA site where I am envisioning including every aspect of community into the vision and mission of the network. Adding in a business network for business uses. You can see that at my demo site via the url above. It shows how you can do this if you choose. Use the www in the url because the main domain directs to my PC which is not always online.
I’ve added features like a network editing and publishing office to the business network, along with a calendar. Businesses can engage in business-to-business activities, make public posts, or share within the business network, choosing exactly who will see their post. This includes options for team notes, personal notes, and a personal engagement calendar. Using UNA’s Discussions app and events calendar, I’ve also added a navigation menu to the business network pages, plus some helpful info and support pages.
I have a vision that brings together everyone—from local communities, family and friends, to local institutions. Furthermore, what would social media be if it weren't for engaging published content, streaming broadcasts, and videos. That’s why there’s also a focus on the needs of online influencers, including text-based journalism, which UNA has covered quite well.
My site is currently a demo showcasing my business idea and concept. If I can spark interest and secure some support for the project, I plan to move the work over to UNA to run in the right environment. I’ll also need to cover the costs for software licenses and services.
I realize I am going to need assistance to work out bugs, and to learn more, as I dive deeper into things.
