I am still seeing messenger just stop responding to connections and it is not the cert that is the cause. Stopping and starting messenger gets the connection going again. Maybe this release will fix that issue.

Please keep an eye on this and let us know if you notice connections drop off and under what circumstances. We’d like to weed this out ASAP and issue a followup update if needed. Thank you.

This issues is connected with Jot Server, but not with Messenger module.
Did you run the Jot server using forver or any other node js modules? Did you set options to command line to watch on certificate folder(s)?
