Are you saying that you launched a Jitsi video chat on an iPhone 14 in a regular web browser from the Messenger page in UNA?
Regarding the Jot Server, it can be installed either separately or on the same server. The main thing is that it must run on a different port from other applications to avoid conflicts.

I started a video chat conferencing through UNA Messenger in a web browser on a iPhone 14 using the Safari browser. The other party was on a 2025 MAC laptop. When we tried to talk both our mics were echoing and screeching. We then did a computer to computer chat using messenger and there were no issues. I hope this explains better. Thank you.

By default, Jitsi does not allow - or at least used to not allow - video conferences through the standard mobile browser on mobile devices. Instead, it is designed to work through the native Jitsi mobile app (free) or another native mobile application, to avoid various types of issues.
You should have seen a warning about this when you tried to start a video conference in the browser on the iPhone.
In the current configuration, this means you can only start video conferences reliably through the web version on desktops/laptops, unless you use the mobile app.
