Hello,
We're sorry to hear you've encountered these issues. We've carefully reviewed your report, and from what you've described, it appears that the problems are not directly related to the Messenger module or the Jot Server.
Please note that the Jot Server is responsible solely for updating the text chat in real-time. It does not interact with the Jitsi Meet components in any way and has no impact on video or audio communication.
When you open a video call in Messenger, an iframe loads the Jitsi interface, and all communication happens either directly between clients or through the Jitsi server — meaning that Messenger and the Jot Server are not involved in the connection process.
The only possible indirect issue might be if something in your environment is blocking or interfering with the Messenger module, which could also affect the messaging functionality.
Could you please confirm whether your Jot Server is functioning properly? Are messages being delivered in real-time? If you're seeing a “connecting…” status in the chat window, this usually indicates that the Jot Server is either not installed correctly or not running, which can cause message delivery failures.

@Alexey any feedback on my question regarding where would you suggest we look to discover the configuration compatibility issue?

Hello!
I would assume that since you migrated the Jot Server to another server, it’s possible that some of the required applications or its startup process need to be checked. There might be issues there.
Please send me your contact details in chat, at least access to the site, so I can review and check it for you.
