The template will show hamburger menu in mobile-viewport in browser. In an app, however, you need to create a native header, because you don't have a browser "back button" and our apps typically add the "back arrow" action in the top left corner. The main menu is then triggered from the launcher (the footer menu) - which is a common convention for social networking apps.
