Thank you. My question is for normal functioning where no external mailer is not used, is SMTP mailer required or I can do without it.
I would highly appreciate if you can solve this problem of mine. I tried a lot with TMD but no luck so far. People are not able to register on the site because they are not even getting email verification mail.

By default, UNA sends the letters via the using of PHP mail function. But as dear @Clubhouse noticed - sharing servers have the limitations the proper work of it.
