The challenge is in keeping all content and media of a module contained to that module. Media added to “updates” in Timeline is not the same as, say, media added to Photos or Albums modules. Imagine what happens when, say, an Albums module is uninstalled, whole Timeline so still running. Or the other way around.  

Presumably we could have a separate page/tab just for the timeline media wishin the timeline module. That would only include media added via updates though. 

Another potential direction is to use a system File Manager for all media uploads and only treat modules as publishers.
