LeonidS thank you for the response. i figured it would what type of changes would it require and is it just code changes or would i need to change other aspects of the database also?

i would like category to work for example if i have a car community and someone posts a discussion about a Tesla and another for a ford id like it to have a catagory for for cars and a sub catagory for each make of car this is just an example of what i am looking for
