I'm still thinking the on the best approach for this feature to make it compatible with all the content.

It is possible to make this feature (automatic links), but I think is better to add this feature into another module and make it compatible with Pretty Links Module, because it is something that may benefit to all modules. Also admins whose don't have the pretty links module may be interested on using this feature for clicking this "title" links to open the content.

I will update this topic as soon as I have news on this.

can you automatically put the title from text in POST module (not in status update).

we already have title field there.
