There is also a Mailchimp integration app, which will sync contacts with your Mailchimp lists only if they're are opted-in. The switch like that is usually a requirements of newsletter-management services. 

Note that UNA doesn't offer own mass-mailer for newsletters. This creates massive spam-report management overhead when you use your own server to send out newsletters.
