How does language mods work?
Does everything on the site get translated for the users who require it in that language? And do posts and feeds also automatically get translated?

I think I got confused. I was under the impression that each mod- German, Russian etc, were translator mods. I'm looking for a translation mod, for users to translate the feeds into their language

You have:
- language files, like russian and english (default) and some others in different qualities...
- You have polyglot to 'change' a language key in the language You have choosen...
User:
- Can choose the language, in case you offer different languages (by default in the bottom menu)
- Should be possible to set the the default language by country for the user - but I'm not familiar with that...

I just found a translator bundle by @Expertzkris - that might be exactly what I need, where it's FB style- to see the feeds in another language.

Have you tried this? I'm recently getting users who speak some European languages. I think this would be a nice feature to have. I just really need it for the feeds mostly

Sorry no. I dont use this mod. And there is a reason for that. I try to use only core/plus so called UNA mods for my site. As my site is atm only for demonstration purposes concerning different projects, that fits my needs.
Please share your experiences with the expert translation mod in case you test it :)
