How to disable or hide Module Categories without deleting them?

Hello,

UNA comes with default categories for modules: Organizations, Ads, Posts etc. I don't want to delete them as I will be using them later. I just want to disable them all for all the modules and add my own modules categories. But if you go to, let's say, Forms > Data Items > Organizations > Organization Categories, there is no option to disable, only to delete them. How to disable or hide them without deleting them?

Honestly I don't know why the UNA Team didn't think about a switch ON/|OFF for module categorigies aswell like in other UNA settings..

      You may disable the fields and page blocks with the categories. Isn't this way fine for you?

        Thanks for your reply. I don't want to remove either the category field nor the page block with categories. I still need the category feature. I just want to disable the default build-in categories that come with modules (example for the Organization module: Agriculture, Financial, Biotech, Cause, Chemical etc) because i will add my own categories and re-use the default ones later.             • Yes, for now there is now the "deactivation" tool for the option. In the select field, you may use the way we applied for your countries removal.

              • That's really sad. Maybe i will just rename the existing categories or just delete them. i don't have any other choice. Feature Resquest: The UNA Team should consider adding a Switch ON/OFF to enable/disable module categories, countries and other items. Thanks.

                • Ok, correct me if i'm wrong here, but do u mean....for example if i am on your site and let's say i go to your groups page.....you don't want me(being a member) to see the categories block?
