I like it a lot, it gives more depth, but I have two small disadvantages.
1. In some places, it seems that the more marked part of the icon is off-center while the lighter part is correct.
Example here:
2. Great for clear themes, but less for dark themes, so I was wondering if you could move the choice in the mix, much like you did with Froala themes?

2. We can't add it as a setting to mix since this isn't system feature, but a setting in a module, however I believe that you can change colour and transparency for each tone in duotone icons via custom styles in particular mix:

So you can add something like this to your mix custom styles field:
:root { --fa-primary-color: green; --fa-primary-opacity: 1.0; --fa-secondary-color: red; --fa-secondary-opacity: 1.0; }So it will look like this:

Yes, in all reaction popups no matter where, everywhere there are double chevrons, including studio side.
!! I just noticed, that the problem is present in Firefox but absent in Opera !! -
