installed UNACMA via cPanel's Softaculous, version = 13.1.0, turned off: Enable auto-update, etc. but it automatically upgraded to: 14.0.0-A1

Hi

I installed UNACMS via my cPanel's Softaculous. The version installed was = 13.1.0. I then immediately went and made sure there was NO check-mark [ ] for:

Enable auto-update

and

Force auto-update, even if some files were modified

However, shortly thereafter, I got an automatic email to my identified admin email address with this message:

Site was successfully upgraded to 14.0.0-A1.

Please go to Studio > Apps Market > Updates to check for modules updates.

-end

When I go to my Dashboard, I see:

UNA on (name of my website here)

Version: 14.0.0-A1 Installed: 14 hours ago

UNA 14.0.0-B1 is available!

-end

The only thing I did after checking that Enable auto-update and Force auto-update, even if some files were modified were not turned-on was to download and install some free Apps, namely: Accounts, Conversation, and Notification

Is there a way of going back to v 13.1.0 automatically? Is this a bug?

    • The same thing happened to me. I just embraced it and I’m running 14b now. No major issues so far.

I know this isn’t helpful but at least we know we’re not alone.

Thanks for confirming this. I consider running with 14b.
        • Hello @Simon !

That's very weird case because if the mentioned options were Off then only the Upgrade button's pressing could run this process.
