Livestream

Quick question. Will the new Livestream software replace the Jitsi Livestream option, or will it be alongside Jitsi?

By default we are using free Jitsi with Messenger, but it is possible to integrate another API.

We have live Stream? In the sense where people can join in and hear you live? Like Facebook live stream?

Jitsi is used for meetings (a few people talking to each other) and video calls (one to one). Live streaming to many no-streaming viewers (hundreds/thousands) is different, it requires recording and rtmp server for streaming from software like OBS - we are working on it now.

If we get it, it would be awesome. Game changer! Many don't leave Facebook because of the feature of live streaming especially News Agencies, businesses, bloggers, and podcasters. Going live on the spot and having many join in is where its at. It will make or break a social network in my opinion.
