Recurring events - not logical

In create event form there's the option of setting a recurrring time interval like in the screenshot I've attached. Unfortunately, to me, this solution doesn't make sense at all, because some of the drop-down values are mutual exclusive. E.g., if I select 1st week of a month, why should I then chose a day, as well?
