Resize image in timeline
Images displayed on timeline or outline should be resized and served as a small image like 250/300 but clicking on should display the actual size.so there will be 2 version to the images you upload the original and the small one. This becous the images takes precious load time.

hi Hodor, i do not understand what you mean, the thumbnails are already resized in the timeline, they are 500 x 500 px, you mean it's too much?

I ment that the images are resize by Attributes like <img src=zy.jpg width=50 height=50> this make then look small on screen but the actual size that download to client is 700*700.

You can check this by right clicking on the image and the "open image on new tab"

yes, that's what I did, for "photo" I have 500 x 500, for which module do you have a larger size?

Maybe I'm going to say something stupid, but are not the pictures printed on the fly when the display is so that the resolution is always acceptable?
If you look at the sys_transcoder_filters table you will see the following values:bx_timeline_photos_preview Resize a:3:{s:1:"w";s:3:"100";s:1:"h";s:3:"100";s:13:"squ... 0 bx_timeline_photos_view Resize a:3:{s:1:"w";s:3:"300";s:1:"h";s:3:"300";s:13:"squ... 0 bx_timeline_photos_medium Resize a:3:{s:1:"w";s:3:"600";s:1:"h";s:3:"600";s:13:"squ... 0 bx_timeline_photos_big Resize a:2:{s:1:"w";s:4:"1200";s:1:"h";s:4:"1200";} So I wonder if there is not a new way of working by transcoding an image based on demand and a specific case from a single photo, instead of storing different formats as you think.
I think it's so in dolphin, but in dolphin if you display the thumbnails 100% on a big screen it becomes really ugly, because it is precisely a miniature of 250 x 250 and that one "pulls" on it for enlarge.
But maybe I'm wrong completely. -

The photos are upload and stored on the server and download when the page loads.

I was wrong 😓 some photos did not resized because of scaling issues...
