Search Fields

This has be somewhat annoying since I started working with this platform a number of years ago, but convinced myself that this annoyance would not last long. It would be nice when you open a search dialogue that the focus would put the cursor at the begging of field instead of have to click in it. Am the only person this bugs. May be a poll will answer this question?

    • Hi,can you show with an example why it is good to have an automatic cursor for example in the author field? did I understand it correctly?

      • When clicking the basic search icon for the una site the cusor is not active in the search box. You have to click in it to make the box active for input. To me if you click the search icon that means that you are going to input data for the search, so why should you click in it. You should just type some text. Most developed sights work this way.
