Set up Channels without Hashtags
How can members join a Channel without adding a hashtag to their profile? We want to have two levels for Channels where one is the members and one where there are followers. We want the Members to be able to join without the use of a hashtag? How do we set up Channels without hashtags?

Hello @fansfam !
There is no the "join to channel" action. The users may browser channels and follow any of them. A new member in the channel will be mentioned in the channel's timeline. Also, there is no the "create form" for the channel - only with the hashtags and by the labels (which are predefined hashtags).

@LeonidS so if I want to create a sub-community of Foodies using UNA the only way a member can join this sub-community (channel) is through adding a hashtag to their bio or a label? How else can we using UNA create a community where users are automatically added to community based on a profile trigger? The overall community of UNA is comprised of many sub-communities.

Is there a way to display the profiles in a block which belong to a browseable category as defined here. So, every profile that belongs to a category called Foodies would appear, not just the number of users belonging to each category. https://unacms.com/wiki/Browseable-categories

Well, the followers variant is fine to be used. But Groups or Spaces are better variants for the described sub-communities.

If you have this part as the Persons profile field then you may use the Macros like
https://ci.una.io/docs/service.html#bx_base_general-browse
or
https://ci.una.io/docs/service.html#bx_persons-get_search_result_unit
